Borderlands 3: Director’s Cut details

After its initial release Sep. 13, 2019, 2K Games has now launched Borderlands 3: Director’s Cut.

The Director’s Cut is a $15 add-on to the base game that includes Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition and Borderlands 3 Season Pass 2. This add-on will include the new Varkid raid boss Hemovorous the Invincible, a murder-mystery quest to be solved for Ava’s new podcast, and new gear and cosmetics that pay tribute to some of the game’s most well-loved allies.

As part of the Director’s Cut, Borderlands 3 is getting Vault Cards. 2K is planning to release three Vault Cards by the end of 2021, each with distinct themes and features. With the Director’s Cut launch on April 8, the first Vault Card – Fallen Heroes – is available to play. More information on the upcoming Vault Cards will be announced later this year.

In addition, Crazy Earl’s Reroll Machine, which can replace the anointment on gear, and Maurice’s Black Market Vending Machine, stocked with legendary loot, are being added to the game for all Borderlands 3 players.

The Director’s Cut will also include early footage of the making of Borderlands 3, unused storyboards and cut content, and other never-before-seen content. You can check out the official launch trailer below.
