Boba’s story continues in first ‘Book of Boba Fett’ trailer
Disney and LucasFilm have released the first trailer for The Mandalorian spin-off, The Book of Boba Fett.
The series follows Boba Fett and Fennec Shand taking control of Jabba the Hutt’s underworld empire on Tatooine.

Boba Fett, played by Temeura Morrison, and Fennec Shand, by Ming-Na Wen, first appeared in season 2 of The Mandalorian. In it, Fett reclaimed his father’s beskar armor and helped The Mandalorian rescue Grogu from Moff Gideon. The spin-off was first teased at the end of The Mandalorian, showing Fett and Shand blast their way into Jabba’s palace and claim his throne.
From the trailer, it appears Fett is attempting to recruit Jabba’s former captains to secure control of Tatooine’s underworld. Instead of ruling through fear like Jabba, however, Fett plans to rule by respect.
The Book of Boba Fett will premiere Dec. 29 on Disney +, with new episodes releasing weekly.
