Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson Return Together in Apple TV+ Movie 'Ghosted'

After their last meeting in the final chapter of Marvel’s Phase 4 – Avengers: Endgame – Chris Evans and Scarlet Johansson will be reunited in the upcoming film “Ghosted.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film will be directed by Dexter Fletcher, known for his work on Rocketman and Eddie the Eagle. He is also set to direct Marvel-star Robert Downey, Jr. in the third upcoming Sherlock Holmes movie. The script is being written by Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, who have collaborated before on the scripts for Deadpool, Deadpool 2 and Zombieland.

Evans and Johansson first shared the screen in 2004 in the film The Perfect Score, where, through pure serendipity, Johansson donned her iconic red hair and the two assembled a team; although, this time to steal the answers to their upcoming SAT.

The film is being helmed by Apple and produced by Skydance studios, who recently released The Tomorrow War starring Chris Pratt, Snake Eyes starring Henry Golding and Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse starring Michael B. Jordan.

While most details about the film are being kept close to the chest, it was described as a romantic action-adventure similar in style to Romancing the Stone, starring Michael Douglass and Kathleen Turner.
