First look at ‘The Flash’ reveals new suit, Supergirl and Keaton’s Batman

DC revealed a speedy first look at The Flash at their virtual FanDome experience.

Check out the teaser below.

Following the events in Justice League, Barry Allen, played by Ezra Miller, decides to use his power to travel back in time to the night his mother was murdered and save her. In doing so, he creates a chain of events that damages the timeline. The story draws inspiration from Flashpoint, the comic written by Geoff Johns and penciled by Andy Kubert.

Development of a Flash movie began in 2004 and was reworked from the ground up in 2014 to fit the character in the DC Extended Universe. After multiple delays and numerous directors leaving the project due to creative differences, Andy Muschietti (It (2017), Mama) is set to direct with Christina Hodson (Bumble Bee, Birds of Prey) writing the screenplay.

Alongside Miller, the film will feature both Ben Affleck’s Batman as well as Michael Keaton’s 1989 iteration of Batman. The movie will also star Sasha Calle as Supergirl, Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, Ron Livingston as Henry Allen, Maribel Verdú as Nora Allen and Temuera Morrison, returning to his role as Aquaman’s father Tom Curry.

The Flash is currently scheduled to release Nov. 4, 2022.
