Marvel’s Eternals official teaser released showing the team fully suited up
Marvel Studios released the first teaser trailer for the upcoming Eternals, giving a better idea of who these relatively unknown heroes are. It also gave a first look at the whole team suited up in full costume.
The Eternals are a race of superhuman immortal beings who have secretly lived on Earth for 7000 years. In the film, they must come out of hiding and reunite to protect the planet from their evil counterparts, the Deviants.
Among the ensemble cast will feature Angelina Jolie as Thena, Salma Hayek Ajak, Gemma Chan (Humans, Crazy Rich Asians) as Sersi, Richard Madden (Game of Thrones) as Ikaris, Kit Harrington (Game of Thrones) as Dane Whitman, Kumali Nanjiani (The Big Sick) as Kingo and Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos. Not only are Jon Snow and Robb Stark reuniting, but Ramin Djawadi, composer of the Game of Thrones music, is joining them to score the film.
The movie will be directed by Chloé Zhao, who recently entered the spotlight for her film Nomadland winning three Oscars for Best Motion Picture of the Year, Best performance by an Actress in a Leading Role and Best Achievement in Directing.
Eternals is based on the comic of the same name created by Jack Kirby with these heroes making their first appearance in 1976.
Eternals is releasing in theaters Nov. 5. Check out the trailer below.
