The Fast & Furious 9 trailer shows the crew going to space

Universal Pictures has released a new The Fast and the Furious trailer for the ninth installment in the series.

The movie will act as a sequel to The Fate of the Furious (2017) and follow the Fast family as Cipher (Charlize Theron) enlists the help of Jakob (John Cena), Dom’s younger brother, to take revenge against Dom and his team. In addition to having all the members of the family, the trailer showed Han, who was thought to have died in The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, return to help.

The trailer showed, in addition to the insane amount of action, the use of high-powered magnets. We also got a glimpse of Roman Pierce (Tyrese Gibson) and Tej Parker (Ludacris) going to space.

F9 was originally planned to release April 2019, but was delayed due to the release of Hobbs & Shaw, No Time to Die and then the COVID-19 pandemic. It looks like Universal decided to commit to this summer so buckle up! F9 will release June 25 in theaters.
