Zack Snyder’s ‘Army of the Dead’ set to release May 21

Zack Snyder announced today on Twitter that his latest film, Army of the Dead, will be released on Netflix May 21.

This will be about two months after Zack Snyder’s Justice League launches March 18 on HBO Max.

Army of the Dead follows a band of mercenaries who, after a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas, decide to venture into the quarantine zone to pull off the greatest heist ever attempted.

The film stars Dave Bautista, Hiroyuki Sanada, Ella Purnell, Garret Dillahunt, Ana de la Reguera, Omari Hardwick, Tig Notaro, Mattias Schweighöfer and Samantha Win.

Along with the release date being announced, Snyder included an image of the film’s poster and confirmation that a teaser for it will be released this Thursday.
